These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Banglar Jomi website, user account, Chrome extension, subscription plans and related digital services. By creating an account, making a payment or using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms.

1. About Banglar Jomi

Banglar Jomi provides digital tools intended to help users format and print publicly accessible land-record information, including Plot/Dag and Khatian/ROR information, in a convenient printable layout.

2. Eligibility

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable Indian law. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.

3. User Account

  • You must provide accurate and current registration information.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and login details confidential.
  • One account may be limited to the number of devices permitted by the selected plan.
  • You must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised account access.
  • You may not sell, rent, transfer or share your account access without our written permission.

4. Services and Subscription Plans

Features, plan duration, device limits, usage limits, support level and applicable charges are displayed on our website or checkout page before payment. The information shown at the time of purchase will apply to that transaction.

Subscription access begins after successful payment verification and activation. Unless expressly stated otherwise, unused subscription time or unused service access cannot be transferred to another account.

5. Payments

Payments may be processed through authorised third-party payment gateways, including Razorpay. Available payment methods may include UPI, cards, net banking, wallets or other methods shown at checkout.

  • You must review the plan, price and duration before confirming payment.
  • A payment is treated as complete only after successful confirmation from the payment provider.
  • Bank, card or gateway processing delays may affect activation time.
  • You must not initiate an unjustified chargeback for a service that has been correctly delivered.

6. Service Activation and Delivery

Banglar Jomi provides digital services; no physical product is shipped. After successful payment and verification, eligible subscription access is normally activated through the registered account. In case of an activation problem, contact support with the registered email address and payment reference.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or misleading activities.
  • Attempt to bypass subscription, device or account restrictions.
  • Copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute our extension or software without permission.
  • Use automated methods that overload, disrupt or damage our website, API or connected services.
  • Upload malicious code or attempt unauthorised access to any system or account.
  • Misrepresent a Banglar Jomi print layout as an independently issued government certificate.

8. Land-Record Information and User Responsibility

Banglar Jomi helps format information obtained from third-party or public portals. We do not create, alter, verify or certify government land records. Users must independently verify information through the relevant official authority before relying on it for legal, financial, registration, mutation, ownership or property-transaction purposes.

Our service is a technical convenience tool and does not provide legal, surveying, title-verification or professional property advice.

9. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website or extension may interact with or link to third-party websites, including public land-record portals and payment providers. Their availability, content, security and policies are controlled by their respective operators. Banglar Jomi is not responsible for changes, downtime, errors or restrictions on third-party platforms.

10. Intellectual Property

The Banglar Jomi name, logo, website design, source code, extension, software features, text and original visual elements are owned by or licensed to Banglar Jomi. No ownership rights are transferred to a user through registration or subscription.

11. Suspension or Termination

We may temporarily suspend or permanently terminate access when we reasonably believe an account has violated these Terms, created a security risk, engaged in fraud, abused the service, or interfered with other users or systems. Where reasonably possible, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

12. Refunds and Cancellation

Refund eligibility, exclusions and processing timelines are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Please review that policy before purchasing a subscription.

14. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, internet problems, browser changes, third-party portal updates, security incidents or events beyond our reasonable control may temporarily affect the service.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Banglar Jomi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, including loss arising from incorrect third-party data, official portal downtime, user error, missed deadlines, loss of profits or reliance on a printout without independent verification.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable consumer-protection or other laws.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, security or operational changes. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law, disputes will be handled by courts of competent jurisdiction in West Bengal, India.
